Igor Leprince is Group Chief Executive Officer of Boldyn Networks, one of the largest shared communications infrastructure companies in the world. He joined the former BAI Communications in May 2020 as Group CEO and led the company through a transformational journey to what is today Boldyn Networks.

Under Igor’s leadership Boldyn Networks has rapidly grown its operations across the US, UK, and Europe through strategic acquisitions, significant deals struck, and the integration of nine companies into one. All with a single purpose of unlocking the power of an interconnected future, which is at the top of Igor’s agenda.

Remarkable deals include Boldyn’s multi-year agreements with Transport for London and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s New York City Subway system for connected transport, and with the city of Sunderland for an ambitious smart city project. Above the ground networks for connected communities like LinkNYC, the largest free public outdoors Wi-Fi network in the US, and hundreds of major connected venues like Crypto.com Arena in L.A. and first direct arena in the UK. Igor has also been responsible for Boldyn’s expansion into new markets like Italy and Germany and into mobile private networks.

Igor’s knowledge and experience includes business growth, large-scale turnaround and transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and integration, as well as entering new and diverse environments for listed, entrepreneurial and mid-size companies.

Before joining Boldyn, Igor was an executive in Nokia between 2007 and 2019 where he was part of the turnaround of the company, the merger between Nokia & Siemens Networks, and the acquisitions of Motorola (2011) and Alcatel-Lucent (2015). His last role was President - Global Services, a 25,000 people and 6bn P&L business unit, where he was a member of the Nokia Group Executive Board. He was previously president of the MEA region (1.5bn P&L), Global head of Care BU (2bn P&L) & Global head of Network planning and Optimisation BU (1bn P&L).

During his time between Nokia and Boldyn Networks, Igor was the Chairman of WM5G and AWTG and a senior advisor for Bain & Company. He is also an angel investor in several technology companies.

Prior to Nokia, Igor was the Managing Director of EMEA for WFI (sold to LCC/Tech Mahindra). He has also held various management roles for telecom operators including Bouygues Telecom, Orange and Western Wireless in the UK, France, Ireland, Switzerland, and Bolivia.

He holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from E.N.S.T. Paris and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems and Networks from University Paris 7.

Igor is married and has four children. In his spare time, Igor is enthusiastic about sports including tennis and wakeboarding. He has a passion for champagne and wine in which he also invests. He is French and lives in the UK.
