As TierPoint’s President and CFO, Mary Meduski has broad responsibility for the corporate development and strategy, financial operations, accounting, information technology, and human resource functions, and is a member of the company's Board of Directors. She also serves as President and Chief Financial Officer of Cequel III, TierPoint's management company. Ms. Meduski has more than 35 years of financial and operating experience in the media, telecommunications and technology industries.
Prior to TierPoint, Ms. Meduski served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Suddenlink Communications, a cable broadband provider serving residential and business customers in 17 states. She joined Suddenlink in 2006 and was named to that company's Board of Directors in 2012.
Before joining Suddenlink, Ms. Meduski served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AAT Communications Corp., the largest privately owned wireless tower company in the United States at the time. Prior to joining AAT, she was a Managing Director in the Media and Communications Investment Banking Groups of TD Securities and BankBoston Securities.
Ms. Meduski has received a number of professional recognitions, including the cable industry's highest honor, the Distinguished Vanguard Award for Leadership. In addition, Ms. Meduski was named a Multichannel News Wonder Woman and was included on CableFAX's list of Most Powerful Women in Cable for 10 consecutive years. She served in several industry leadership roles, including Chair of the National Board for Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). Ms. Meduski has been named among the St. Louis Business Journal's Most Influential Business Women.
Ms. Meduski currently serves as Lead Independent Director of CableOne, Inc. She is also Chair of the Nomination and Governance Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of CableOne, Inc.
For Cornell University, her alma mater, Ms. Meduski is a member of the College of Arts & Sciences Advisory Council; the President's Council of Cornell Women (PCCW); the Cornell Campaign Cabinet; and National Chair of the Cornell Annual Funds. Ms. Meduski began her second term as a member of the Cornell University Board of Trustees on July 1, 2023, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Finance Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee, the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, and the Development Committee.
