Ash has over 17 years of experience assisting senior executives and investors with investment due diligence, corporate strategy, financial modeling, operational improvements, and product development across digital infrastructure sectors including wireless and towers, data centers and construction, fiber and broadband, satellites, and related equipment and services.
Prior to joining EY-Parthenon, Ash was the first employee at CMA Strategy Consulting, which was acquired by EY to become the core of EY-Parthenon’s Digital Infrastructure practice, and has conducted over 200 consulting projects, including financial and strategic due diligence assignments on over $80B of transactions and go-to-market and product roadmap engagements generating over $3B in additional revenue for his clients.
Ash’s work spans both commercial and technical aspects of the digital infrastructure industry. In addition to his strategy work, he also assists clients with technical diligence of target assets and feature/architecture development in new product strategies. He has conducted desktop and/or field diligence of over 20 tower portfolios, over 50 data center facilities, and over 20 fiber and broadband networks worldwide, as well as over 50 desktop and/or lab technical assessments of new products, equipment, software, and technologies.
Prior to joining CMA in 2007, Ash ran the Cambridge Public Internet, the city’s muni-wireless and digital inclusion program and prior to that worked as an engineering analyst for SAIC in the satellite industry.
Ash holds an MBA with honors from Babson College and a bachelors in aerospace engineering from MIT.
